OUR CHURCH
Relationships are important! First and foremost, our relationship with Jesus Christ, but our relationships with one another are also a huge part of our lives. The hard thing about relationships is that they involve people! And people aren't perfect.
Relationships are hard because they are not convenient, simple, or comfortable. Life is full of obstacles, struggles, and dark places. Yet, Jesus paid the price for us--He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! It is only through His grace that we can function and carry on through the dark places. It is only through His grace that we can have relationship--that we can be a family.
And we truly view church as our family! Church is a place for us to bring all of our mess and allow Jesus to perform His healing work within us, as only He can. Church is a place where we can laugh together, cry together, and seek out answers together.
Our church family is bound together, walking shoulder to shoulder, doing life together. All under the loving direction of our King Jesus.
We would love for you to join us in that family!
OUR PASTOR
Hi, I'm Chad, and this is a picture of me with my incredible bride, Darla, and our two boys, Eli and Asher.
I have to say that being called into ministry is a tricky thing. Especially when that calling doesn't fit into the confines of my self-made life plan! I was born and raised here in Missouri, and I have spent the majority of my life pursuing "The American Dream." A wife, a house, 2 kids, 2 dogs, a steady job, a (slowly) growing savings account, and enough money to do something on the weekends. I thought I was happy chasing that dream.
And then, God happened in my life! As it turns out, His plan is so much better than anything I could have come up with! There's not enough space here to tell the story, but I can absolutely assure you that when you reach a point of decision to let Him work in your life, it likely won't look like what you had imagined, but it will be so much more fulfilling than you ever thought it could be.
In most cases, we have to let go of what we want in order for God to give us what we need. That's the bumper sticker version of my story.
I pray that you will come to a point where you allow Him to work in your life. It certainly won't be without trials and hardships, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
